Dental Anatomy Typing Practice
Naming a tooth on a chart is easy. Naming it under time pressure, from the correct quadrant, in the middle of a viva — that is the skill dental students actually need. Our dental scanner runs across a rotating dental arch and locks onto individual teeth or oral structures at random. Type the name. Fast.
Teeth we cover
- Central incisors, lateral incisors, canines (cuspids)
- First premolars, second premolars
- First, second and third molars (including wisdom teeth)
- Upper (maxillary) and lower (mandibular) arches
Oral structures
- Maxilla, mandible
- Hard palate, soft palate
- Tongue, gingiva, alveolar bone
Terminology support
Both common names (canine) and anatomical names (cuspid, maxillary canine) are accepted. Case and punctuation are ignored. Typos of one or two characters are forgiven on longer terms so a slipped finger doesn't break your streak.
