- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour↵
- 1 teaspoon baking soda↵
- 1 teaspoon salt↵
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened↵
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar↵
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed↵
- 2 large eggs↵
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract↵
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips↵

DIRECTIONS↵
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).↵
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.↵
3. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.↵
4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.↵
5. Mix in vanilla extract.↵
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.↵
7. Stir in chocolate chips.↵
8. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto a baking sheet.↵
9. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.↵
10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.↵
